Ha! That got your attention!
Well I earned the endearment of 'muppet' when I slid backwards, in my car, on sheet ice, ending up in a hedge. Add the reversing into rhododendrons on a posh ish driveway. You can see a bit of a theme about going backwards generally ha ha
Anyway looking forwards these days, takes me on long walks, beach and woods. Swims in local pools and beaches. Getting lost in a book. Bingeing a series (usually in winter) and of course being the Taxi of Mum to a horse mad daughter and currently footie mad son.
Outwith all that I'm self employed, growing, foraging and making preserves ; re training into a bit of diy/ furniture restorer; plastering (long story but needs must and currently it pays to be creative).
Live on the Galloway coast enjoying a slower pace of life (travelled from London to Aberdeen to here 24 years ago ....)
Now the children are doing 'their thing' it's time for me to evolve again.

I like my own space as much as anyone but to see some art, star gaze , have some fun or just chat with another adult always adds to the life experience.
