I am blessed to work part time in a rewarding profession. The chance to make a difference to my patients; that is true job satisfaction!

I enjoy the studying my work involves & am a "Team Player". I'm an Emergency First-Aider; I love its unpredictable challenges, including in pubs, cafes, on the street & at Waterloo & Richmond Stations!
A keen Volunteer, this has included as a JP, Prison Visitor & Police Officer, in Crown Court & Schools, on Cancer & Student Helplines, writing for a national book, with the homeless & an Animal Welfare Charity. Also, as Charity National Media Rep/ Public-Speaking Volunteer; a huge honour.
Friends generously secretly nominated me for a National Charity Inspiration Award; winning this made me cry!
I enjoy time with family & friends & being outdoors cycling & long walks.
I love the Arts; theatre, cinema, radio, music, history, museums & exhibitions, & current affairs (My degree was in Politics). I enjoy reading eg books chosen with Book Group friends, watching cricket, rugby, football & cooking for friends & family.
Travel wise, I'm into untourist-y, French Battlefields, Bretagne & Uruguayan Summers, with IFOR in Bosnia, tanks & Landrovers, staying in Barracks, Officers' Mess beers, sailing & scuba diving at St Kildare, staying in a mountain hut & with a family in Romania, boaty stuff; IOW Police flotilla & on my friends' houseboat & travelling the UK in my Austin Healey with my son & dogs.
If you're into off the beaten track, let's go! I'll pack my bikini tho, as I haven't skinny dipped in ages, persuade me to do it again.
