You don’t have to earn my trust. I trust everyone and everybody gets 100 points until behaviours tell me otherwise. Naive? Possibly. - I really do to look for the best in people - and I don’t like habitual negativity - but it’s ok to have the occasional good ol’ English whinge about..weather..politicians..traffic and of course, shoddy customer service. Grrr.

It’s just lovely to do stuff together - but don’t worry... we can go together to the beach or to a gallery, to lunch at a nice pub etc - but I’ll take my bestie on a shopping day, so you won’t be held hostage outside any department store changing rooms, where poor bewildered fellows can often be seen, lost and slightly frightened.
I’m human and you are too, aren’t you?.. (please say yes 😬). We may have our quieter moments, occasionally, but I don’t do sulks, dramas, tantrums nor spite - and neither do you - right? I prefer communication, so let’s always try that route first.
Of course, you’ll have history, but not “baggage”, I hope. We may both have a couple of battle scars, but no deep, unhealed wounds and we’ll carry our “experience” like a discreet badge and not a burden nor a shield..
