About her
I am an attractive (so I'm told...), sociable and caring person who has recently retired from the NHS. Friends and family are very important to me and I love spending time with them.
I love most types of music but particularly classical music and would like to go to more concerts than I do currently. I sing in two choirs - one a large chorus and the other a smaller chamber choir. I'm definitely a choral singer rather than soloist but any singing always lifts my spirits.
I enjoy eating out and will eat any type of food apart from goats cheese! I like walking, as long as there's a coffee shop and/or pub at the end.
I enjoy going to the theatre, concerts, visiting new places and holidays in the UK and abroad. At home I sew, read, watch drama series on the TV and entertain friends and family.
I am active and look a lot younger than my 67 years (really!). All my pictures are taken within the last year. I have a dog, a rescue Staffie, who is very important to me.
I have visited some interesting places such as Haiti, where I worked for a month in a children's hospital, Bocas Del Toro, which is just off the north coast of Panama, Riga and Ankara, Istanbul and Cappadocia in Turkey. I've also been to most popular holiday locations but would love to explore more widely.
