About her
I have been single for many many years which was by my choice until recently, being far away from everyone (in South Africa) I have never felt more alone than I do right now. Maybe because winter is fastly approaching🥶😁
I am a mother to three beautiful adult children who now have their own children making me a proud granny.
My greatest passion is animals of all sizes and form. In SA I lived and worked on a farm run as an equine rescue centre where I was also able to take care of the feral cats and often got calls to take in rescue dogs with problems.
I believe that it is time to find that special someone, hopefully my soulmate that would be happy to take care of me, love me for me and vice versa.
To be honest cooking or baking is not my strong suit unfortunately but I have managed to bash out a good meal from time to time.
Hobbies include reading, writing, binge watching various series, art painting, and with the correct tools I have restored wood furniture over the years.
I am not terribly active, i.e. exercise wise but do enjoy taking countryside walks.
My ideal way to relax is to sit comfortably quiet with a mug of coffee enjoying the garden, or view.

I'm looking for a tall old school type of man. That special person who naturally 'treats her like a lady.' Someone with a good sense of humour and a hearty laugh. That person who will pull me into a warm bear hug and tell me everything is going to be alright when I need it. To enjoy and feel comfortable in each other's company especially through those needed quiet moments.
I believe communication is key in any relationship. It is so important to tell each other everything whether it be good or bad and never allow situations to bottle up till they explode, that is always a dirty mess to clean up.
Honesty and trust is also right up there. No relationship can survive without trust.
I also like the saying ' never go to bed angry or with unresolved issues '
A dealbreaker for me - I hate conflict of any kind. I will not hang around if I'm disrespected, shouted or screamed at regardless of the reason. I believe that any matter can be discussed in a civil manner.
