I’m a friendly, happy, outgoing person with a good sense of humour & an optimistic outlook on life. My friends say I’m also kind, caring & empathetic. I love getting out in the fresh air & walking with my Golden Retriever dog Ralph. Before having Ralph I walked The Coast to Coast from St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay & The West Highland Way, plus I’ve done a lot of hill walking in The Lakes, Scotland & Wales. I used to enjoy road running but it’s taken its toll on my knees, so don’t run anymore but do still enjoy a cycle ride or a game of badminton. I also like going out for meals, having a drink in the pub, listening to music & reading. I lived in Australia for 7 years in my thirties which was brilliant, but am now happy to be living back in England & appreciate even more so everything we have in the UK. I’m still working but do part time hours now for that work / life balance & hope to retire sometime over the next few years.
