About her
I am interested in people, their backgrounds and their stories and like to think I am interesting in return. I have an arts background, drew pictures from an early age and went to art school when I was young. I would describe myself as arty, bold, dynamic but also sensitive and a bit shy. I love to laugh, joke and have fun. I am sociable. I like to contradict myself.
I enjoy being challenged to think differently, valuing people, difference, dynamism.
I enjoy all art forms. I can draw and paint.
I love birds, not so much from an ornithological point of view, but because of what they symbolise and their expressive characteristics. That's why I added the tagline 'likeaswan.' I am not claiming outer beauty, I strive for inner. I also think the metaphorical idea of being graceful on the surface and paddling underneath probably applies to most of us.
I appreciate the restorative properties of nature, love walking in the beautiful countryside around me and in the wider UK. I also love the buzz of the world's cities, and am currently exploring the ones I haven't visited. I used to live in London, but am happy to return home after a stint there.
