Hello and welcome! My name is Mat/Mathew
I spent a lot of time over the past decade learning about Farming, to understand/appreciate where our food comes from. I have made Farming friends and volunteered for them. I have helped with Lambing, Pigs, egg laying chicken farm, beef cattle and even tried milking some cows!
Alongside this I also had my own allotment where I grew some of my own food (I even have photos to prove it! 😂)
I smile and laugh a lot (especially at myself). I have a love and passion for farming (especially livestock), I also like going for walks; hikes; being out in nature; trying new things; days out; visiting National Trust sites; Travelling/holidays; Animals; Music and many more things besides!
I enjoy spending time with people; good food; conversations; laughs. I do also enjoy being at home relaxing too, I prefer to do that though with company! 😉
I sometimes relax by playing video games. As much as I enjoy spending time with people, I also find it important that we have our own hobbies
I want to learn how to Ski/Snowboard and learn to Scuba Dive. My eventual goal is to have my own smallholding where I can be more self-sufficient, have my own livestock, allotment/orchard.
I plan for a living so most of my holidays are planned very well to ensure I don't miss anything 😂. I can also be spontaneous though and decide to do something last minute. For a fair warning, I am a morning person and can be very chatty at 06:30 😂
I am looking for someone that I can share my love for adventure, Farming, the Countryside, holidays, walks, hikes and many other things besides. That I can laugh and make some great memories with and who has the same passion for life, the outdoors and farming and wants a similar Smallholding/self-sufficient lifestyle.
I drink Tea/Coffee. Don't drink alcohol really. Dislike smoking and happy if you have children but please understand that I do not have or want any of my own.
