If I had to describe myself in one word, I’d pick ‘curious.’ I am eternally curious! I am very alive to the world around me, and always want to learn more.
I adore reading and drink a lot of tea. Ideally at the same time, lying on a sofa at home or in a hammock on a tropical beach. I find intelligence sexy, and love men who read.
I love to potter, so if you’re the impatient type, please pass! I love street markets, especially abroad. Museums, historic sites… I devour them all.
I love movies and binge-watching series on Netflix. I like to walk, especially with a dog, but fear my hiking days are behind me (a recent scooter crash in Laos didn’t help the old knees) I have sold my bike too. But I love my motorbike and have recently been whizzing around Bavaria.
What else can I say? You need to find out in person, really. That’s more fun. I can assure you I am kind though. Fun to be with (though decidedly eccentric) I laugh a lot. Love to feel my heart beating faster. I get very excited at airports. I love the scent of jasmine and the taste of a perfectly ripe peach. I pick worms up off the pavement. Trees delight me.

I ride a Triumph and would love to find a man who rides. It’s not a deal breaker. If you are happy to pursue your own hobbies while I head for the open road, that’s great too. But it is lovely to be with someone who shares your interests. Cruising round Europe together would be wonderful. In a jeep or a beaten-up van (not a motorhome!) if not by bike. And if you were interested in the history, architecture and culture of where we were going, you would be my dream partner…
Happy to stop at coffee shops along the way and watch the sun go down over the sea with a bottle of something? Now we’re talking perfection!
Kindness is essential. Down to earth is sexy. I love someone who makes the world a better place, whether it’s by building a garden, heading a charity or simply smiling at strangers. I appreciate good manners and dislike excessive swearing.
