Hello, I'm a retired university lecturer and have a reliable, calm, kind and thoughtful personality. I enjoy travelling, reading, cooking, contemporary jazz and photography (B&W). I keep myself fit by cycling, swimming and walking.
I’ve been told I am a good cook particularly with fish and enjoy preparing a meal with fresh ingredients and I also bake the occasional fruit cake. I'm used to looking after myself and have been independent for a few years. I've no tattoos or metal work (including hips!) and my photos are within the last 12 months.

I'm not keen on dogs (or league football) but don't mind catching spiders as long as it's not a Latrodectus! Unless you are prone to spontaneous combustion on reading this, smoking is not acceptable.
If you like getting outside, travelling and keeping fit, then we might have a good start. Days and evenings out to share conversation and interests. Spontaneity is helped by not being too far apart, so if you’re within a reasonable distance of South Birmingham that would be good.
