About her
I'm a strong independant 64 year old who loves life. I like nothing more than going to watch a football match. My late husband was a Tottenham Hotspur supporter and I have kept his season ticket on. So on a Saturday afternoon I can be found at the new Tottenham Stadium watching the match. I can't say I am cheering Spurs on because my heart belongs to Mancheter United! That's another story!
I love sport, I used to play badminton, volleyball and football, but knee injuries have put a stop to my play! So I now enjoy watching sport, walking my beloved Bella, an English Bulldog and swimming.My other passion is the written word, I enjoy reading but I love to write. I studied for my BA English Language & Literature degree at the age of 55, graduating at 58. I put my degree to good use by teaching English to non english speakers online. Combining my love of words with my love to talk! I also love to listen to music of any genre. I always have music on, classical if I am writing or studying, rock if I need motivating and pop if I want to have fun! As they say music is the soundtrack to my life.
I believe that life is for living, caring for my husband for many years taught me that you only get one life, this is not a dress rehersal. Do the things you've always wanted to do, go to the places you've dreamed of seeing, see that play, go to that concert, don't let fear stop you from doing anything and dance like no one is watching!
